Di Gilbranch, funeral celebrant, helping families say farewell to their loved ones across Essex and Suffolk.
As a funeral celebrant, I offer a range of different ways to celebrate the life of a loved one. This includes traditional burials and cremations, along with woodland burials, ashes scattering ceremonies and more. I always offer a helping hand to find a service or ceremony that works for you and, of course, the wishes of those who have passed.
Each ceremony is unique, reflecting the life and beliefs of your loved one. Here are some options:
A ceremony at the crematorium, celebrating their life with chosen music, readings and tributes, shaped to your personal wishes. Read more

A gathering to remember away from the funeral day, ideal for close family or wider friends, held whenever and wherever suits. Read more

Whatever ceremony you choose, I’ll meet with you beforehand, usually at your home, to get to know the person we’re honouring. I’ll write a ceremony based on your stories, wishes and values, and you’ll see the full text in advance.
You can include spiritual or religious elements if you wish, or keep it completely non-religious. We’ll work together to create something that truly reflects your loved one’s life.
Funerals/Memorials from £240
Other ceremonies from £75

“Di has been amazing. We first met her four years ago when she led our mum’s service. When we lost our dad more recently, we asked for her again. She helped us through with the same warmth and professionalism — completing the journey for our parents to be reunited. We’d recommend her without hesitation.”
